Rev. Trice has been pastor of Matthews OPC in Matthews, North Carolina since he was first ordained to the gospel ministry in 1996. Nathan was born to Christian parents in Columbus, Georgia, and was raised with 5 younger siblings in southwestern Virginia. His early schooling was by means of both Christian and home schools. He received a B.A. degree in Historical Studies from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia in 1991, and an M. Div. degree from Knox Theological Seminary in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1994. He has also done further studies toward a Th. M. degree at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania while interning at the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Franklin Square, Long Island.
